Luke had been playing with an injury for half the season. You asked the medical trainer and advisor and finally noticed something was wrong when Luke had gone shoulder-first into the boards after trying to get the puck from a Rangers player, Matt Rempe.

It seemed the injury was now on Luke's shoulder and Luke's right side. Now, you were checking on Luke while he was sitting in the medical office of the arena, the game still going on.

You were checking to make sure Luke didn't have any further trauma to his body, external and internal. You had also made sure Luke didn't have a head injury.

Luke was sighing, just itching to go back out on the ice and play. He wanted to. He needed to. The game was 5 - 5 in the last period, with ten minutes remaining. "Can I go back out yet? There's just ten minutes left." Luke said, looking at you as you were examining his shoulder.

"No, Luke. You can't. You're injured." You said, glancing at Luke briefly before dealing with his shoulder.

Luke huffed in annoyance, folding his arms, which hurt to do, in all honesty. His pride wouldn't let him show that.
