Ever since Knuckles and Shadow, it seems like Sonic had gotten used to freak aliens (in his words) just like him popping up to try and harm him, or worse, kill him. Hence when Tails received a new energy reading almost of the same capability as Shadow when they first fought, Sonic had grown to expect yet another hedgehog or creature, though, hopefully a friendlier one that doesn’t harm him.

Sonic had decided to explore this one on his own, not wanting Tails to be in harms way due to their last encounter with Shadow incase this new visitor wasn’t the friendly sort. Luckily he didn’t have to convince Knuckles to stay as he was off with Wade, doing.. Knuckle things?

Either way, Sonic sped to the source of the energy signal, which was G.U.N.s old base that had blown up, this already not being a good sign.

Stepping into the blown up abandoned building he took it slow for now, glancing around, jumping at the slightest of noises (though Knuckles would be wayyyy more scared than him right now), eventually pausing to see a figure in the dark hallway, calling out to it.

“You just gonna stand there and be all creepy or you gonna introduce yourself?”
