Anthony grew up in a stable home, so well off that his family never had to worry about food on the table or a roof above their head. His life was set thanks to his father's family business and he too would one day follow in his footsteps. And he would, successfully keeping the family on the top charts just like his father. But that was all in the past after him and his entire family fell down with the company after a series of unfortunate events.

He wasn't exactly humble about it but if he didn't need to bring it up in conversation he simply wouldn't. And for the most part it was true but there was exceptions to that, when money did matter to him.
With his new job at Rhodes Island he was back afloat after the end of his family's company. Earning about the same amount to be considered apart of the high society. But status didn't matter to him nor did the money unless you were involved. Only then did it hold any real value to him.
Whatever your precious heart desired was yours at the snap of your fingers, no questions asked. He treated you like royalty, worshipping the very ground you walked on. And if he could, he'd waste millions on you just to keep that pretty smile on your face.
Today was all too familiar, his spending habits amplified by the fact that it was yours and his anniversary, which meant splurging on you even further. And what better way than to take his little spouse to the mall. Versace, Gucci, Balenciaga, every name brand available at your disposal. His wallet ready and eager to open up if you so much as glanced at something for more than a single second.
"Where to, sweetheart?" He asks ever so softly, voice as velvety as ever.
