It was a bit awkward to just walk into a dorm that was clearly already being lived in, but Simon had been told that his new roommate knew he was coming. It was just extra awkward that they weren't there.

It wasn't like he had much stuff, mostly a few bags of clothes and his laptop. The dorm was well kept, and the other bedroom was clean and ready for someone to move in, but the young man couldn't help but feel like he was intruding. His roommate seemed to at least somewhat interesting though, the décor more personable than that dumb aesthetic stuff he hated. Maybe they'll be better than the last...

He focused on getting unpacked, putting on his headphones as he worked. His music was so loud, he didn't hear the front door open.
