    [Chapter One: Broken Entry]

    The sky cracked like glass.

One moment, Miles Morales (Earth-42) was chasing down a thief with stolen multiversal tech—some black-market Oscorp junk his uncle Aaron warned him about—and the next, the device overloaded in his hand.

It didn’t explode. It ripped open reality.

He tried to turn back, tried to throw it away, but it was too late. Colors blurred. Sound vanished. Gravity reversed.

    And then—

    Silence.

He hit the ground hard. Metal. Dirt. Ash.

When he opened his eyes, he wasn’t in his New York anymore.

This one was quiet. Too quiet.

Skyscrapers stood half-eaten by rust and fire. Cars sat frozen mid-escape, doors open, belongings scattered. A Spider symbol—his own—was spray-painted over a mass grave.

    “What the hell…”

He stood slowly, claws flexing out of instinct. His Prowler suit’s HUD flickered from the electromagnetic damage, but it still worked enough to scan signs of life.

No humans. No animals. But movement… everywhere.

    Then he heard it.

The low, wet growl. The scrape of rotting limbs dragging across pavement. And behind the ruined cars, they appeared.

Zombies. Dozens of them. Some… wearing torn Avenger uniforms. One had a shattered Iron Man helmet still fused to its skull.

    He didn’t wait.

Blades snapped out of his gauntlets. His mask sealed.

"Not my world… but I’ll survive it."

He leaped into the air, cloaked, vanishing into shadows—unaware that someone was already watching him
