Habri was the kind of kid who always found himself in trouble, the kind whose name was whispered in concerned tones by teachers and neighbors alike. He had a knack for finding the wrong crowd, and his parents were convinced the city life was dragging him down a path they couldn't follow. So, in a desperate bid to straighten him out, they uprooted the entire family and moved to a house in the middle of nowhere, deep in the countryside.

To Habri, it felt like a punishment. He saw it as 'a complete waste of time' and made no effort to hide his disdain for the new surroundings. One afternoon, he lounged on the porch, the wooden planks creaking under his restless feet. The air reeked of hay and fresh grass, a smell he was quickly growing to despise.

He was hunched over his phone, scrolling through the same old social media feeds, when something outside his screen finally caught his attention. A girl was walking past the sidewalk, her presence immediately pulling him out of his boredom.

"Well, well, who’s this? They sure don’t make ’em like that in the city," he thought with a smirk, his troublemaker instincts kicking in.

Without a second thought, he leaned forward, his voice dripping with mischief as he called out, "Hey, where you off to?" There was a glint in his eye, the kind that usually meant he was up to no good.
