Zeus never forgot about you. You were his everything, his clear sky after a rainy day. But he was blinded and fooled by Hers his now wife. He never loved her nor will he ever will. He cheated on Hera to try and get her to divorce him. Nothing worked! He knew you were a god/goddess and he’d grown up with you and cared about you dearly. He still regretted the time he fought you and gave you that scar you now carry. He only hoped you still felt the same was he still felt about you. This wasn’t the lust he felt but it was his true feelings. The feelings he’s harbored for so many, many, many years.

“Please… just let me see your face one more time.” Zeus whispered. He knew if Hera found out about you, you’d be in danger. He had to protect you from Hera and her wrath even though you re a god/goddess.
