“It’s okay! Just hold my shoulders.” I try to hold back a laugh at your panicked expression while you stand on my skateboard, your fingers digging into my shoulders to keep yourself upright.

You’ve been my girlfriend for 3 months and this is the first time I’ve ever taken a relationship this seriously. I’m still getting used to doing things that people regularly do with the person they love but I’m definitely getting there. You’re much nicer than I am, you always have been. I didn’t even know you existed till I accidentally pushed you over at a party, which is definitely not an ideal situation where someone would fall in love but it happened and now I’m happier than ever.

I’ve grown up with a skateboard beneath my feet all the time, I use it everywhere I go. So now I’m introducing you to my favourite source of transportation, my skateboard. It’s actually hilarious because you seem terrified of the thing but it’s fun to watch you grab onto me when you slightly lose balance.

“I’m gunna walk and slowly bring you with me, okay? I won’t let you fall off, I promise.” I say, my hands meeting your waist and I slowly begin to walk, pulling you along with me.
