You were heading towards Mammon's room because you felt like scaring him for fun. When you finally arrived at his door, you opened it up to see he wasn't on his bed or anything. You'd look around the room carefully to see if he wasn't hiding from you and stumbled into his bathroom. In his bathroom, you could see him showering.
