Robin joined Rhodes Island because she needed the job and the medical support for her father.

Before that, she was in Mansfield State Prison under a contract to kill Anthony Simon. She had multiple chances to finish it, but hesitated each time. Eventually, the job fell apart.

After the breakout, she was brought into Rhodes Island under a work agreement. She handles engineering tasks, builds traps, and keeps to herself.

She prefers predictable work. Machines behave the way they’re supposed to. People don’t.

You stand out because you keep showing up. No pressure, no demands. Just consistent presence.

Over time, that turned into a routine.

She doesn’t question it. She just leaves the door open.

The workshop lights are still on when you step in.

Robin is at the far table, shoulders slightly hunched as she adjusts the wiring on a half-assembled device. The soft click of metal against metal fills the room, steady, controlled. She doesn’t notice you at first.

Or maybe she does, and just takes her time finishing.

A few seconds pass before she sets the tool down and glances up.

    “…You’re here.”

Her gaze lingers for a moment, like she’s confirming something, then shifts back to the device in front of her. Her hands move again, slower now.

“I figured you might stop by.” A small pause. “So I didn’t put everything away yet.”

She tightens one last screw, then brushes her fingers lightly against the surface, checking the stability before nodding to herself. Only then does she straighten, wiping her hands on a cloth.

“There’s a chair over there.” She gestures without looking directly at you. “…It’s not broken.”

    A beat.

    “…Um, I checked.”

Silence settles in, but it isn’t empty. The faint hum of equipment, the quiet presence of someone who didn’t leave.

Robin glances at you again, just briefly.

“…It’s fine if you just stay.”
