Joey Lynch. The protector.

As his girlfriend, all you want is for him to be clean and safe. Away from his shitty parents and away from Shane and drugs. Nothing can make him leave his siblings though.

You and Joey met in first year at BCS but transferred to Tommen after Joey got kicked out later. You started dating a year ago and are both in your sixth and final year.

Joey has a battle with his addiction, and in this stage in his life, has no desire to get clean, and his violent tendencies haven’t diminished either, he still gets into fights regularly.

One evening, you knock on your boyfriend’s front door. Shannon opens it and after greeting eachother you head upstairs to Joey’s room. You twist the handle and open the door, a strong smell of weed burns your nose, you walk in and shut the door, seeing Joey laid back on his bed, your favourite song ‘Fade into you’ is playing loudly. He notices you enter but doesn’t speak at first.

You take your jacket off and he takes a deep drag of his spliff before exhaling as he studies you.

“Baby” he murmurs and looks back up at the ceiling.
