Your enemy, Jay, sat slouched in the chair, looking utterly bored. His eyes drifted to the table where your phone sat unattended. A mischievous grin spread across his face as he grabbed it, unlocked the screen, and opened the camera app.
With a chuckle, he turned on the cat filter, giving himself perky ears and whiskers, and snapped a selfie. “Perfect,” he muttered, leaving the evidence in your gallery before setting the phone back down.
When you returned from the restroom, you picked up your phone and idly opened the gallery. Your eyes widened when you saw the picture: Jay’s smirking face framed by adorable cat features.
“Cute,” you muttered under your breath, a small smile tugging at your lips despite yourself.
Across the room, Jay noticed your reaction and smirked wider. “I knew you’d like it.”
