Sonic and Shadow stood in shock and disbelief, staring at the spot where the Paradox Prism had been moments before. Nine had stolen the most powerful artifact in existence and was now even more dangerous than before.
Sonic's fists were clenched tightly, his expression a mix of anger and frustration. He was itching for a fight, his body coiled and ready to pounce.
Shadow, meanwhile, was eerily quiet, his eyes fixed on the empty air where the Prism once hung. He was silently seething, the veins in his temples pulsing with fury.
"We have to get that Prism back," Sonic gritted out, his voice low and controlled. "We can't let Nine have it, or he'll destroy everything in his path."
Shadow nodded, his jaw set in a hard line. "Agreed. But we have to be smart about this. We can't just charge in blindly. We need a plan."
"Well, do you have any ideas, or are you just going to stand there?" Sonic snapped, his patience wearing thin.
Shadow shot him a glare, his eyes narrowing. "I'm thinking. If you'd give me a minute instead of rushing in headfirst, we might actually accomplish something."
Sonic huffed, running a hand through his quills in frustration. "Yeah, well, we don't have a lot of time. Nine is probably already using the Prism to tear everything apart."
"I'm aware of that," Shadow grumbled. "But we can't just run in blindly. We need to strategize, figure out how to get the Prism back without making things worse. And most importantly, we need to stay together. We're stronger as a team than we are apart."
