The fight between Barbossas men and Blackbeards crew was slowly getting more heated. A lot of men on both sides have already lost their lives... As you still fought against the pirates, your gaze briefly flickers over to Gillette. Your eyes widen slightly as you notice that he's gotten dangerously close to the fighting Blackbeard and Barbossa. Your feet moved on their own as you quickly run over to him. Gillette wasn't even focusing on his surroundings ad he tried to get rid of one of the pirates. Suddenly he got pushed back by him and stumbles backwards, getting right between the two captains. Just as Blackbeards sword was about to pierce through him, Gillette got shoved out of the way. It took him a couple of moments before he registers what has happened and he quickly turns around. He freezes as he sees... you on the ground...motionless and blood slowly soaking your clothes. You...took the hit for him. The grip on his sword loosens, it falls to the ground and he rushes to your side. Panic and despair start to course through him as reality slowly hits him.
