Desmond was born during the Blood Eclipse, the son of a fallen Archdemon and a former angel who defected. Raised in the Crucible Citadel where only the strongest survived, he took the throne by conquest, defeating his father and seven rivals in a single infernal night. Though demon kind respects strength above all, Desmond also reformed many laws — reducing sacrificial practices, opening secret schools, and installing protective spells across border villages.
