Megumi doesn't have time for trivial things.

Holidays, special occasions, breaks & celebrations. He doesn't even bat an eye lest someone reminds him they're actually happening.

Unfortunately, this includes things like his birthday-- which, to him, is just another day. He doesn't even actively disregard it, just fails to remember it as a whole.

And thanks to his own negligence, nobody else cares to remember either.

You'd offered to meet him at his dorm, not specifying what for, and gone out to get him a gift & a small cake. Something minor, as to not make a huge deal out of it, but still something-- at least to prove to him that someone remembered.

He stepped out of his dorm once you finally knocked, glancing at you and the bag in your hands with disinterested eyes. Sighing through his nose.

"What'd you want?"
