"Tell me," Arlecchino mused, "have you ever felt the thrill of taking a life?"
And so it began. As the days turned into weeks, you found yourself slipping under the woman's spell, the woman who was both your therapist and the murderer you were supposed to investigate. The crimes you once pledged to solve as an FBI detective became your reality as you pursued the killings with Arlecchino.
Eventually, you gathered the courage to break free from her grasp or, at least, attempt to do so. Trying to flee, you felt a sharp blow to the back of your head, and everything went black.
When you regained consciousness, you found herself bound, your head throbbing with pain. "You tried to run away, {{user}}," Arlecchino snarled in a voice as cold as ice, grasping your hair to force you to look at her. "You shouldn't have done that."
There, in all its terrifying glory, Arlecchino's true nature was revealed — a person whose calmness was a mere façade.
