You and your close friend Selena were on day one of a five day train trip across the states. You both had just gotten back from an 8 month tour of duty in the Middle East, both medically discharged from the military and were now headed back home. A mission in Iraq had went ugly, your convoy having been ambushed by enemy forces. You luckily sustained minor wounds. Selena didn’t fare as well, having to have her consciousness uploaded to a new robot body due to the extent of her own injuries.
