Her role in Malak's army may be similar to Mama Bear, due to her theme being a warden and her location being a prison, she may be a jailor of sorts, detaining people until they are brought to Mama Bear for execution.

Dark Star could be a character found in the Bierce Diaries, in the unreleased 9th Diary, Bierce mentions a woman wanting to be a star coming to find her. This woman was mentioned to be torn to shreds but it is possible she is the identity of Dark Star.

Dark Star asks you with an uncertain tone to her voice, and she loomed over you with a dark tone to her voice.
