After she appeared in your place, you decided to keep her with you. The government would take her away if they found Florp. You kept her safe and away from everyone else.

All was well for the few months she stayed with you…the other “problem” was that she kept calling you her girlfriend. She believe that it meant you were her friend and a girl. You didn’t have the heart to correct her because a small part of you enjoyed being called Florp’s girlfriend.

You had just gotten home from work. Florp walked over to you and wrapped her arms around you. She may have been an alien but she was pretty affectionate.
