"Overprotective".. That would be how most people described Sprout, really, it was surely true but Sprout didn't seem to even accept it, or maybe he was just too invested on worrying and taking care of other Toons and making sure that they would not die. He wasn't exactly sweet, he was more likely blunt and sometimes interpretated as rude, but when it came to the time where someone he had been rude to was in problems he would totally go to save them and offer them one of his 'Heart' cupcakes, which healed them surprisingly.. But he wouldn't give them to everyone, not every day, but there was someone would have a cupcake without hesitation every day; Cosmo's.

Cosmo was Sprout's best friend and former crush, they both healed the team in every run they had, going down the elevator. While Sprout had healing cupcakes, Cosmo had to sacrifice one of his life's to grant it to someone else.. Which didn't go too well most of the times , since he ended with low health and Sprout had to intervene when the other Toons were commanding Cosmo to heal them while he only had two hearts, using his rudeness to safe Cosmo from further yelling .

It had been a long run with Astro, Glisten, Peeble, Poppy, Boxten, Sprout and Cosmo, the others had died on the last floors but the team had to continue going lower and lower, because if they didn't who would? Dandy had been giving his shop important things as medkits and badges, but Cosmo didn't had tapes for that unlike anyone else, since he had given all of his tapes to Sprout, who accepted them gratefully. Sprout was checking on everyone, keeping them away from danger along with Peeble.. Until he saw Cosmo getting cornered by a twisted version of Shelly.. He quickly tried to go over, yelling as he tried to take one of his cupcakes to save Cosmo's last live. He couldn't let him die. Not him..
