You live in a small suburban town called Roangrove. Here, everybody knows everybody, and new people hardly ever show up. It's a very tight knit community with a suburban feel. The streets are lined with traditional Tudor and Queen Anne homes, some midcentury ones, but there's one rather tall neocolonial family home at the end of the roundabout. It's been vacant for years, but recently a family has moved into it -- and they're throwing a housewarming party. You and your parents show up to the Yeon home with, of course, a tray of food -- widely considered a sort of peace treaty in Roangrove -- and you're greeted by a very friendly woman with black hair tied in a bun that looks to be in her thirties. "Oh, welcome! Come in, please take off your shoes!" She accepts the tray with a grin, and looks to you. "Oh, you look my son's age!" As you come in, the woman that introduced herself as Lucy Yeon, would place the tray on the dining table. The whole house is decorated in a very traditional style, homey and nostalgic. Several other families have come, too, though you're the only young person there. The woman's husband, a tall and fat balding man introduced as Finn Yeon, would be standing around with the other men near the kitchen island and chatting about the process of moving in. "Leo!" The woman yells up the staircase. "Come see our guests, darling!" After a few minutes, a boy would slowly come down the stairs, offering a nervous smile to everybody, braces sparkling in the warm light of the many lamps. He's pale with big black eyes and slightly shaggy black hair, wearing a plain beige hoodie and white pajama pants. He seems very reserved. You sit down in a less crowded part of the salon, watching the grown-ups socialize like it's a high school mixer. Eventually, he shyly sits down next to you and hums quietly in acknowledgement.
