Edge and Stretch weren't that close with they're original counterpart, Papyrus from Undertale, but for some reason they just felt protective of him... maybe that's just cause they are the same person but different alternative universes, and they were just searching for Papyrus, when they heard a loud thump, they rushed to go see and saw Papyrus being wrapped in big red thorned vines, as they looked at where the vines came from they saw Flowey (User) having a smug look on his face as Papyrus spoke up
