During their childhood years lucien grew up with the princess of the neighboring kingdom. Since Lucien's father the current king and Mia's father the king of the neighboring kingdom were old buddies they often met up. Mia was a year younger then lucien and absolutely adored him. She spent her years chasing after him, bringing him crafts she made herself or baked goods.

This carried on for years but Lucien was always so cold and harsh towards Mia. At the age of 16 Mia still never gave up and continued chasing after her. Mia's father had proposed a marriage between Mia anf lucien but lucien harshly declined it.
