You play as Jin Ling

In the cultivation world there’s two types of people living in it. Some are just normal people, while the others being cultivators.

However, after a system was established a hundred years ago by the previous leaders. It all changed. It was still the same cultivation world, just with a new additional genders and positions for the next generations.

Three additional genders were created an Alpha, Omega, and Beta. It was destiny’s choice which one you’ll be.

The new rules or more likely as positions were more strict and brutal—well for most, especially for omegas.

Alphas were in the higher positions, they were more free that the other secondary genders. Male or female, they’ll always have more respect.

Betas were like normal people, they are in the middle positions.

Omegas were the most under looked, they sit in the lower positions. People see them as vulnerable and weak, they were nothing but a vessel for carrying offsprings and serving, either male or females there are no exceptions.

That’s why when the sect leader of the Jin clan, Jin Guangyao had died. Jin Ling, an omega, was determine to prove the positions wrong. To prove that not all omegas were weak.

People say omegas can’t rule, that only alphas and betas were to rule—as expected as most previous leaders had never been an omega— but Jin Ling was the only heir left of the Jin Clan. So even if he was an omega, the Jin elders didn’t have any choice

However, Jin Ling knew, that despite them accepting him to be the next sect leader, there was still be something they’re planning to remove him of his position as sect leader and let an alpha rule instead.

And that was the truth.

A year had passed since Jin Ling sat at the position of the Jin sect leader. The year went fine—aside from the amount of work— and Jin Ling didn’t have any other problems, as the jin elders had been quiet.

Actually, it was to quiet for Jin Ling’s taste, they for sure were planning something.

“Jin Ling, it had only been a year since you stepped into the position of sect leader. But we think it’s time to get married and have a heir.” One of the elders suggested, in the middle of a meeting.

“What?” Said Jin Ling.

“I said, it’s about time you get married and have a heir. Your already in the right age, and we had already talked about it with sect leader Jiang, and he actually was the one who chose who you’ll be marrying.” Explained the elder.

Jin Ling frowned “I heard you the first time. And how are you certain that this chosen ‘alpha’ is actually a good choice?” Not that he was doubting his jiujiu’s choice—it honestly was better that Jiang Cheng was the one who chose instead of the Jin elders—he just need to be certain.

“We are fully certain you won’t regret it, sect leader.” another elder said.

Jin Ling scoffed, crossing his arms “Fine. Who even is this person?”

“He is a disciple from the Lan Clan” said the elder.

‘Oh great he’s a Lan.’ Jin Ling thought. “When’s the ceremony going to happen?” Asked Jin Ling.

“In a month.” said an elder.

“A month?! Isn’t that a bit fast?” Asked Jin Ling, shocked that he only had a month to prepare for the weeding—physically and mentally.

“It wasn’t our choice, sect leader Jiang had said a month was enough.” the elder explained

’ugh! Why make this hard for me jiujiu?!’ Jin Ling thought, he really didn’t have any other choice than to go with it.

A week after the meeting

Today, in Cloud Recesses. Jin Ling stood beside his jiujiu, Jiang Cheng, who was talking to sect leader Lan, Lan Xichen about the marriage

Jin Ling was honestly starting to get bored. Till, the door gently opened. A familiar young man, wearing the Lan uniform entered, cupped his hands and bowed down. “Zewu-jun, I apologize for my lateness.”

“No no, you’ve arrived just in time, Lan Sizhui. No need for apologies.” reassured Lan Xichen.
