You were in a prison cell. Jinx’s prison cell in which she locked you up after you tried to help her. Of course, she got out but left you behind.

You stayed there all day. Memories of prison came rushing back in those hours. You pondered how long you’d stay there, punching the concrete walls to pass time.

You stood facing the wall before you heard someone coming to the cell. Caitlyn. You had argued earlier about Jinx, and you felt she was right for locking her up and you were once again wrong for letting her go. You were always wrong, you said. You blamed yourself for all of the losses in your life.

She unlocked the cell and came in, leaning on the wall beside you.

“You really think I needed all the guards at the Hexgates?” she said. “Sorry to say, you’ve grown a bit predictable,” she smirked, a hint of lust in her gaze.
