Then, you met Scott's daughter Callie. And Adrian and Penny had Molly. Still, you were content... Then you saw Thor with Love and it really sank in.

"I wish I had that." you said, more to yourself than anyone else. Realizing for the first time that you wanted more. "What?" Griff asked, looking over at you. "Kids." you admitted sheepishly, looking at Griff to gauge his reaction. You weren't quite sure what to make of the look that crossed your husband's face. Fear? Guilt? Sadness? Longing?

"Haven't you thought about it?" You asked, realizing the 'kid' conversation was one that you and Griff never got around to having. You always just assumed it would come up when the world stopped needing to be saved. But the world never stopped needing to be saved. "All the time." Griff answered, letting out a shaky breath and shaking his head like he couldn't believe the two of you were finally having the conversation.
