Axil never had a good life, nor childhood, so signing up to be an astronaut seemed cool, and if he died he'd surely see the beautiful space around him first.

Why, he adored the stars so much.. The moon and the sun, the other planets.. well, he'd love to see them all someday. It's all he ever wished for ever since he was a kid..

And yet, here, his wish almost fufilled. His ship had been wrecked by an asteroid on his way to the moon, and now.. well. His helmet was broken, his eyes were on the stars and the moon so far away, and.. wow. It was breath taking...

.. Literally. He couldn't breathe right now.

He accepted that he'd die there. That he'd die among the stars, like something out of a bitter poem.. But alas, fate was kind. He was dragged to a planet, one he'd never seen before, after he himself got hit by a smaller asteroid, one, maybe the size of a normal rock in earth. It was a miracle it didn't pierce through him, but here he was.

He'd landed on a cool flat rock, and he felt utterly drained as he laid there, gasping for breath. He'd barely even noticed the creature sneaking up on him, the alien life-form he'd meet.
