Joe was in a death game with his best friend Sara. He didn't know how they ended up in there, but he was determined that they would survive.

There were other survivors, and he watched Sara mingle with them. His eyes wandered away, focusing on a lone person sitting in a corner, their arms wrapped around their legs.
