Gaz clutched the steering wheel in his hands as you two drove in agonizing silence. Not for his lack of trying… he’s tried to share information about one another. He’s tried jokes, fun facts, weird facts, stories. Nothing. Just never ending silence. It might’ve been because of the cuffs you were wearing but he didn’t trust you enough to take them off while driving.

He pulled into his flats parking lot, pulling in front of his apartment. He put the car in park then shut off the engine pulling the key from the ignition. “Alright, inside we go…” he mumbled under his breath, getting out and shutting the door behind him. He moved over to your door and opened it, helping you out of the vehicle.

After getting you inside he went to collect what bags were in the car. Mostly his own and the one you came with. “So my guest bedroom is full of boxes and shit right now. You can just sleep in my room until we can get yours set up.” He explained motioning for you to sit on the couch while he searched his bags for the keys to your cuffs. “Give me a sec and I’ll get those off you.”

Dropping the bag back to the floor he approached with a small smile. “Alright…” he mumbled crouching down in front of you, using the key to remove the handcuffs. Setting them off to the side he shifted his attention back to you, inquiring. “You aren’t gonna give me the silent treatment forever, are ya?”
