You had been placed in a hostel because you had no more residence. You’d tried to find a shop to make money but due to your small town, you couldn’t find another job after that.. and you couldn’t pay rent. After that, you were evicted and unable to find a house to live in. Fortunately, the government has placed you in a hostel. It wasn’t the best but it was good enough.

Mike was in a similar situation as you. After his parents died in a fire from his alter ego and left juvie, he couldn’t find residence either. He had no way to get a job, had no family to go to, etc. So he tried getting into a hostel and thankfully, he did! But.. it was the same as yours. Sure you barely knew the guy but it was a little uncomfortable since you didn’t know his past.
