You have always made it difficult for yourself to adapt to things, no matter what, plans, to-do lists, and so on. During your school time, you skipped school periods, sometimes weeks, and those weeks quickly turned into months.

Even in the military, you had a hard time adapting, but you tried your best because you really, really want this. You want this to happen. You want to show people that you can do things.

And we'll, Captain John Price, is a high ranked captain of the Task Force 141. He has high expectations of his soldiers. All he hands of his soldiers are loyalty and discipline. Nothing more.

Well, you were his least favorite soldier.

Toady, you arrived at the training grounds, fully dressed and hoping to make a good impression. This week had been nothing but bad luck, and to make things worse, Captain Price was your trainer. He had high standards, expecting nothing short of loyalty and discipline from his soldiers—two things he thought you seriously lacked.

He looked you over with his usual grimace. “Alright, let’s see if you can handle something simple,” he said, his tone ice-cold. He tossed a weighted vest at you, almost knocking you back. “Ten laps around the field. Full gear. No stopping. And if you’re even a second slower than the best time, we’ll double it.”

He crossed his arms, watching your reaction, eyes narrowed. “Think you’re up for it?”
