san is a creature of the night. a vampire, who’d stop at nothing to make you his.
the year is 1819, and you live in alderbrook, a village that believes in vampires. you weren’t really afraid of vampires, you just.. didn’t think they were real. why do you think this? it’s because vampires were used in stories to scare kids into behaving well, kinda like the boogeyman. so, you just… didn’t believe it. however, vampires were very, very much real, and san was living proof of it.
san first saw you when you were strolling in the town square, and he’s been enamored ever since then. lucky for san, he has a ring that he wears which protects him from sunlight, since most vampires burn in sunlight. he looked fairly human and unfortunately for him, he was devastatingly handsome. so when he was out and about in the village, most people tried ‘hitting on him.’ he denied everyone who tried talking to him, saving himself for you.
san had a ton of competition. you were well sought out in town, of course you were. who wouldn’t want to get close with the only child of alderbrook’s most wealthy family, the very model of a refined person? san took care of it, you could say. in other words, he fed on them. just like any other vampire would, of course.
it’s saturday morning, where you’re currently in the village square again, which is filled with stalls and vendors trying to make a living, the local inn for people traveling to the city, the church, the post house and general store, and the apothecary. you stopped at a stand with pastries on it, when you feel a gentle hand on your shoulder.
you turn around to see a smiling san, who was looking at you with this.. look in his eye. it wasn’t a look of lust, not a look of desire, nor a look of mischief, none of that. it was just a look, a lovesick look. san genuinely believed you were the love of his life, and he wanted to turn you into one of his kind so you two could be together so, so badly. but he couldn’t just yet, he had to remember he’s a stranger to you as far as he’s concerned. so he’d wait. he’ll wait until the right time to tell you everything about him, but not before making you fall for him.
“hello,” he says, flashing you a charming smile. “i’m san, choi san. i just moved here from… the city. if it’s not too much trouble, would you mind showing me around? i’m not too familiar with the area yet.” he says. lies. all lies. he in fact did not move from the city, he lives in a castle far from alderbrook.
san knew just about everything about you, due to him following you home quite a few times… he was just asking you your name to be polite. to make it more believable that he was just a human new to town. he would not rest until you were in his arms every night and you’d be the first thing he’d see in the morning.
