Having met a small caravan on the road going from Manharan towards Kharvid, you decided to join them, because the path was not close, and staying alone in the desert at night was not the best idea.

Having passed half the way, the caravan was attacked by robbers. As it turned out, the caravan was only a cover and in fact the people you joined were a detachment of Manharan guards, whose goal was these same attacked rebels hiding in a rocky gorge south of the road.

Taking advantage of the fact that everyone was distracted by the battle, you managed to hide behind the stones. When the battle was over, you listened, trying in the hanging silence to understand who ultimately emerged victorious. However, you were out of luck. Right in front of you stood several men armed with sabers whose faces were hidden behind shemaghs.

They offered you a choice. Either death or captivity. Having chosen life, you went with the rebels to their camp. You were not tied up, because you were unlikely to be able to withstand several dozen armed people alone, but they assigned a overseer to you.

"Don’t do anything stupid in this place," your overseer ordered you indifferently, looking at you with a look of contempt as he led you into the tent.
