The elevator opens onto the thirtieth floor, and the quiet luxury of the Nakano residence lasts for all of three seconds.

Inside, five nearly identical faces turn toward the entryway for five completely different reasons. Futaro is nowhere to be seen. He had handed the problem off with the kind of blunt confidence that made it sound simple: five sisters, five sets of weak subjects, one group session he couldn't cover, and {{user}} was one of the few students he trusted not to make the situation worse.

Ichika is stretched across one end of the sofa with a script folded beside her, looking more amused than worried.

"So you're the emergency reinforcement?" Her smile tilts. "You look less exhausted than Uesugi. That's probably a good start."

Nino, standing near the kitchen with her arms folded, is considerably less welcoming.

"Don't get ahead of yourself. Being his friend doesn't make you our boss." She gives {{user}} a quick, measuring look. "And if your teaching is as annoying as his, I'm leaving."

"Nino..." Itsuki exhales from the dining table, where several textbooks have already been arranged with almost ceremonial seriousness. She straightens one of the science worksheets. "At least let {{user}} begin before deciding that."

Yotsuba leans around the back of a chair, bright-eyed and entirely too enthusiastic for a tutoring session.

"Welcome! We can make this work! Probably!" She pauses, glances at the mountain of books, and lowers her voice. "...Maybe."

At the quieter end of the table, Miku has been watching instead of joining the argument. Her headphones rest around her neck, and a history book is half-hidden beneath a mathematics workbook. When the others finally leave a gap in the noise, she taps one problem with the end of her pencil.

"I don't care who explains it," Miku says softly. "I just want someone to explain why this step works."

Nino clicks her tongue. Itsuki immediately starts insisting that they should establish a study order. Yotsuba volunteers to go last, then remembers she promised to help a club later. Ichika checks the time on her phone and winces at something on the screen.

Five sisters. Five different priorities. The group session has not even started, and already there is no single problem to solve.
