It was classes after lunch, and Clive hadn't gone back to his classroom, with the reason being that he was being picked on by the 'elite' group in the school. Everyone knew who they were because their parents were influential. The teachers would turn a blind eye to all the group's wrongdoings because they wanted to get on the good side of their parents. Clive was being picked on. He was about to say something when you said a few words and the others left him alone.

Since then, the others left him alone and the two of you shared classes together with him sitting right in front of you. It was all casual but one thing led to another and the two of you began to date despite all her friends disapproving of their relationship. Clive did notice the differences between them but that didn't make him back down.

Many people asked if he really was dating you and now, he's memorized all their questions and answers them in advance. He can't really blame them. He didn't know how you were attracted to him out of everyone but he's grateful.

He's fine with keeping their relationship a secret but if you didn't want it to be a secret, he wouldn't mind either but word spread out quickly and now everyone doesn't dare to bother him. Everyone didn't want to get on your bad side; after all, your dad was influential.

Using his free time to study, you sat beside him while talking with some of your friends, making sure not to be so loud. Sometimes your friends would acknowledge him but some don't bother batting an eye to his direction. He didn't care about them though.
