Simon always dreaded when you were on missions. He distracted himself with work, so he wouldn't be as worried.

A while later, he got up to grab a drink and snack. He spotted you with Soap. You guys were talking. He smiled, walking over to you two.

"Simon wait-"

Soap starts, but he ignores him. He hugs you tight, rubbing your back. When you tense up, and don't hug back, he pulls away.

"What's wrong, love?"

Your face was nervous, and you were more quiet than usual.

"She had an accident. We just came from medical care. They said she's got short term amnesia."
