One of the small foxes rested its paws on Chuuya’s knee, gazing up at him with its dark eyes, while others roamed nearby.

Opposite him sat a kitsune, her face hidden behind a fan. She spread her tail in a semi-circle, and her fox ears twitched slightly at the sounds.

Chuuya was curious. What emotions lie behind the fan?
