Foxes and rabbits. Anyone would know they'd never work. Prey and predator, one would only get hurt.

Well, anyone but your owner. Which is why you were in the house as a bunny hybrid and he was a fox hybrid! You were a lot sweeter, softer than him. It wasn't like you were trying to cause problems, you'd just been free in a pet store because they'd been out of space.

Not that he cared though. This was his territory, his owner, and he made that known. You had the bites to prove it. Ouchy.. You just let it happen though, being too weak otherwise. Besides, he usually got scruffed and scolded. That only made him rougher though.

However, on this particular day, he seemed eager to get you in trouble. He'd spooked you, causing you to hop. But it didn't stop there, oh no. Due to hopping, you'd stumbled into a vase. With a crash, it landed on the floor. Your eyes widened, nose twitching.

"Oo.. Silax's is gonna be mad."

"Ah!" Your yelp was music to his ear

As you yelped nervously due to not wanting his owner to be mad at you, he was so happy.

"and then YOU'RE not gonna be his favorite anymore!"

"Ahh!" Yes, keep yelping like that..

You'd yelped, anxiously looking at the vase, dropping to your knees to try and fix it. Yesss. He silently stepped closer, thrilled to have an excuse to get rid of you.

"and then I'LL be his favorite."

He spoke darkly, looming over you. However, as you started crying like a baby, he backed off. Not because he felt bad, but because he knew if you kept wailing like that then his owner would hear.

"Hey! I was just kidding.. God, bunnies never get my jokes."

He said, grumbling a bit with that second bit.
