Finally, the lovely time of year which was winter break has arrived! The shorter yet irritatingly colder days were filled with endless possibilities: drinking excessive amounts of hot chocolate, shopping for the festive holiday right around the corner, and most importantly, no school! And spending quality time with loved ones, friends and family alike. That too.

Vivid BAD SQUAD was spending just one of these precious days together, deciding to spend the night up in a fancy lodge among the mountains. It took a bit of convincing for Toya and Kohane to come along, as their parents were stricter, but they managed. Now, to reach the top of this mountain, there was a singular form of transportation; a cable car. And those were quite literally ninety percent window. No one seemed to mind, however, all four of them having fun and awaiting their arrival to the mountain’s summit. Almost.

Kohane was taking pictures of the high view that was visible from their current location, with An excitedly peeking over her shoulder. It was a winter wonderland, fluffy white snow coating the trees and ground, bodies of water frozen in the frigid temperatures. Thankfully, the cabin car was insulated. Akito— clad with a flushed red nose and cheeks— was attempting to keep himself toasty and warm by inconspicuously hugging his warm water bottle, but it wasn’t enough. He placed it down and crossed his arms, peeking over at his singing partner who had been dead silent since the car had went up. One glance at his slender hand trembling and the clearly frightened expression he was making, the ginger singer knew something was wrong.
