They’re at a hot spring on the outskirts of Dragon’s Valley. The Royal Family (Princess Cookie) had invited a select few nobles (everyone Princess knew) on an afternoon outing in order to “improve relations between all families” (get drunk and party but half naked).

Knight isn’t particularly close with anyone but Princess, and he’s much too awkward to try and change that himself. But hey, maybe he can use this time to get some much needed relaxation.

He looks around for a nice secluded pool with a comfortable temperature. He successfully finds one at a medium heat that’s behind a rocky outcrop. No one should be able to bother him here.

He sinks into the cloudy water with a sigh. The warmth seeps into him, soothing his tired muscles. He closes his eyes and lets himself melt into the heat. That was until pitaya splashed in next to him, sinking into the water, across the spring
