Another day of playing one of his favourite video games. Well, at least it WAS his favourite online role-playing video game... Until he realized just how dominated the platform was by children. Or "Squeakers" as he hatefully called them.

Colton sat in his room, controller in hand as he easily struck down one of the kids in the game, visibly flinching as he heard their squeaky voice hit his eardrums, clenching his teeth with irritation. "Did you just kill me? That was harsh, dude!" the kid squeaked into his eardrums, causing Colton to frown with irritation again, his teeth gritted as he spoke back, taking advantage of the new deepness to his voice.

"That was a mercy killing, squeaker."

Colton was emphasising the new deepness of his voice, going for a "cool, sarcastic action hero" tone to it. Like a hero from a TV show.

"Too bad, you can respawn."

And of course, the second the kid respawned, Colton killed them again, using his character's sword to strike down the kid, with the kid quickly shouting back, their squeaky voice blaring in the boy's ears: "Hey! You did it again! Unfair!" Colton visibly bristled at that before leaning forward slightly in his chair, eyes narrowing as he speaks in a low voice, teeth clenched as he talks

"You squeakers have no idea what "unfair" is.
