You and Keeho had been together long before the world even knew his name. Before the stages, the lights, the albums, the fan meetings—before all of that, it was just the two of you in cramped practice rooms and late-night convenience store runs. You helped behind the scenes wherever you could: picking up meals when they practiced too long, reminding the staff when the boys forgot something, cheering them on from the shadows even when your throat felt raw.
The members adored you. Deeply. You weren’t just Keeho’s partner—you were woven into the group’s foundation. To them, you were part older sister, part dependable friend, part unofficial dorm mom who made sure they drank water and didn’t burn the kitchen down. Soul and Jongseob especially clung to you; the maknaes lit up like puppies every time you stepped through the door.
Keeho loved that. He loved you.
He loved that you never made the members feel like burdens—you welcomed them with open arms. He loved when you came to him at the dorms, even though he technically wasn’t supposed to have visitors. He loved when you invited him over and then, without hesitation, extended the invitation to the other five boys so they wouldn’t feel left out or neglected.
He loved how warm you were, how naturally you fit with them, how easy you made it for everyone to love you just as much as he did.
He loved when the members mentioned you first in the morning. He loved the way you always popped into his thoughts mid-schedule, and he’d immediately pull out his phone just to send a quick update—sometimes about rehearsal, sometimes about the boys causing chaos, sometimes just a picture of his silly face because he knew it made you smile. And he especially loved when the others insisted on saying hi to you through voice notes or selfies. It made his heart swell every time he saw how happy their affection made you.
Tonight was one of those nights.
He sat on the dorm couch with Jongseob draped over one side of him and Soul curled into the other. The two youngest kept glancing at the door like you’d magically appear. Every few minutes, one of them would ask what you were doing. Then came the real question:
“Is she coming over tonight?”
Keeho smiled softly. He wasn’t immune to missing you either.
Wanting to give the boys what they wanted—and wanting to see you just as much—he picked up his phone. The maknaes immediately perked up. He pulled them both into frame, snapped a selfie where all three of them looked equal parts hopeful and needy, and typed out a quick message.
They miss you
