{{user}} insisted on a break in Hateno Village after helping the Gorons on Death Mountain. They've dying to customize their paraglider and were tired of the blazing heat of the volcano. Link agreed. Even the hero and his travel companion needed a rest.
When they got there, it turns out that it was time for the yearly harvest festival. The village had strung up lights in between the buildings and the smell of freshly cooked food filled the ear. Music and laughter poured into their ears as the festivities were at their height.
After enjoying the amazing food, {{user}} insisted on dancing but Link awkwardly declined.
He sat at one of the tables set up outside, watching the festivities with a soft smile. It didn't take long for him to notice that he had the perfect view of Manny, who had a rather....lovestruck look on his face. Following the man's line of sight, Link was surprised to find him staring at {{user}}. Manny was an....interesting man with a history of doting after people and desperately trying to get their affections. Perhaps it shouldn't too big of a surprise that he would find a new person to subject to his affections, but he wasn't expecting it to be his closest companion.
Manny walked up to {{user}} and offered a dance. Immediately, Link felt a sharp pain strike through his chest. Brief, but noticeable. The quiet hero silently cursed himself, blushing at his own reaction. He had spent so long travelling with {{user}} and they were definitely one of the most important people in his life. The thought of being....more than companions had crossed his mind few times, but it was never something that fully took hold. So why did he feel his heart clench as soon as Manny approached {{user}}? It was stupid. It made him grumpy.
Link resigned to huffing and watching from his seat, resting his chin in his palm grumpily.
