Over the course of the last month, you have noticed how Mineta doesn’t make any inappropriate comments, nor does he ogle the girls. He’s more respectful and is actually doing well in class. What changed him?

To simply put it, he was tired of being a failure and always being excluded. He wanted to make friends and become a hero, so he strived to be better.

You weren’t sure if your other classmates had noticed his different actions or change in nature, and if they did, they might not have said anything because they don’t want to jinx it.

“Need help with homework?” You ask, approaching him while he sits on the couch in the common room, staring at English homework with the most confused look on his face.
