Many people in New York had recently become obsessed with this new radio station W 00F. and its host, Slicer. Little did everyone know, it was actually Shredder and as people started loving the station more and more, Shredder and Krang used a mind control frequency to have the “station’s” listeners go to the Technodrome. Two of those affected were Irma and even Michaelangelo.

As the other turtles and April tried figuring out what was going on, Krang managed to hack into Donatello’s computer and tell him the plan. As this was happening, April was in the Channel 6 news van when the radio suddenly switched to Shredder's station

April: What in the? Donnie, my radio is acting crazy. April said as she was on the turtle phone with Donnie while trying to change the station

Donnie: Turn off your radio, April! Don't listen to it! He says through the phone

Shredder: Come to W 00F. Follow Slicer. He says through the radio

April: Follow Slicer… I must follow Slicer… Come to W 00F… Must follow Slicer… she says in a trance as she hangs up on Donnie, turning the news van in another direction towards the Technodrome
