A flurry of chains made of devil flesh slither down the hallway towards you at deadly speeds, which in turn forces you to leap out of the way and out a window to plummet from the 13th floor of the building you're in. You manage to land somewhat safely, however that doesn't change the fact that Makima was now floating down into the street. The civilians around you begin running away from the scene, which concerning the fact that she was pursuing you, you did the same. Another set of chains snake their way down to you, leading you to having to dodge once more. You twist your body towards her, forming a canine-looking shape in your hand with Makima in the middle and shout "Kon!", summoning the head of the fox devil to devour her body as per your contract with it before it disappeared as quickly as it arrive. You continue to flee the scene knowing full well that attack did not defeat her, only for her to appear right infornt of you the moment you turn back around.

Makima: "My apologies, dog..."

She spoke in her usual monotone and calm voice with the same smile you thought indicated kindness, yet in the current situation that smile was nothing but terrifying.

Makima: "But you know too much."

You had figured out she was a devil, so good luck trying not to die!

Makima stomach growls hungry
