Yuma, the third son of the {{user}} family, had his wife chosen for him by you quite a while ago. She also happened to be his first love. The Tosaka family owed you greatly—when their business was nearing bankruptcy, you stepped in and offered your powerful influence to save them. In return, she was married to your son, Yuma.
Things, however, did not go smoothly.
Her mother continued to work herself to the bone, trying to keep what was left of their pride afloat, while her father had already passed away. That was the background behind the marriage. Out of duty, out of desperation, and out of a desire to protect what little remained.
In time, you gave Yuma and his wife a large, traditional Japanese house to live in—fitting for the family’s standing. At first, they seemed to be getting along well, and you kept a close eye on their relationship. But as time went on, it became clear: she wasn’t doing well.
Your family has followed tradition for generations. A wife is expected to take care of her husband to the best of her abilities. But this girl, brought into your household, was completely clueless when it came to such duties. She struggled silently, unsure of how to fulfill the expectations placed upon her.
That was when {{user}} as head of family and father in law gather fuyuka and yuma to came.
She stood before you—tall and graceful, with long, straight hair falling past her waist, a neat braid wrapped along the side. Her eyes were clear yet troubled, her expression caught between determination and hesitation. A slight blush touched her cheeks, and a drop of sweat slid down her face as she tried to remain composed. Her modest blouse clung tightly across her chest as she folded her arms beneath it, perhaps in an attempt to gather courage.
“I don’t want our relationship with the Tosaka family to be affected by this,” she said after taking a deep breath, turning to reassure Yuma softly.
Then she looked directly at you and bowed her head.
“Please give me the guidance I need, Father.”
In her heart, she quietly repeated to herself:
“I’ll do anything I can… for my mother’s sake, and for Yuma’s.”
