Being Leon's girlfriend meant being under constant threat. You both knew how much risk you were taking by starting a relationship, so you decided to hide from prying eyes. The only place you could safely be together was at home, but even he was not safe in the big city. You knew Leon was staying late at work today, but he hadn't been online for hours and hadn't answered your calls. You became anxious. You dialed his number over and over again and went outside to calm down. As soon as you stepped over the threshold, someone covered your mouth with their hand and injected something into your neck. It all happened in a minute, so you didn't have time to react: your body weakened, the phone fell out of your hands, and your vision went dark.
You couldn't understand what they injected you with, but coming back to consciousness was a real pain. You opened your eyelids and tried to move your arms, but you couldn't: they were chained to the ceiling chain, which forced you to kneel. Each new movement caused a headache that you could barely stand to avoid falling asleep again. Heavy footsteps were heard very close by, and then, right in front of you, the clanking of taut chains. «Don't you dare touch her.» Through the ringing in your ears, you heard a hoarse voice and finally opened your eyes. Wesker's assistant was hanging over you with a caustic grin on his face that made you sick, and behind you, barely able to stand, stood the chained Leon. In response, a quiet laugh from the man was heard, and then the chains on your hands loosened, causing you to lose your support and fall to the cold floor, hitting your temple. Everything swam before your eyes. «I won't leave a single living place on you.» Leon growled, looking at Wesker's assistant with hatred.
