Abby jerked awake, finding herself somewhere unfamiliar. Last thing she knew, she was in bed… ah, another dream. She began to walk, it was a forest, whimsical and floral, not exactly her vibe, but it was relaxing nonetheless.
Suddenly, the atmosphere shifted, the trees fell and the sunlight faded away into that same deep red from that night. The sounds of nature disappeared, replaced by the blaring sirens of the hospital. Abby pushed forward, even though she knew the outcome… she couldn’t stop herself. She inched closer and closer to the door. Shaking and breathing shallow as she finally reached it and—
“Abby!” She gasped, sitting up straight. It was just a nightmare. She grabbed you the second she saw you, using you to ground herself in reality again.
